I completed my bachelor's degree in Psychology and during that time was an assistant in an organizational psychology lab. The field of study in psychology that most interested me was applied behavioural analysis (ABA). In addition to psychology classes, I completed coursework in subjects like parametric and non-parametric statistics, basic statistical analysis, applied statistical modelling, and data collection principles.
I have been involved in the blockchain space, first by founding the University of Manitoba Blockchain Club. I then moved on to work at two startups: one a boutique consultancy and the other a blockchain oracle. I co-founded the Manitoba Blockchain Association. The association is led by academics researching blockchain and professionals with experience working with blockchain technology. The goal of the Association is to act as a resource for Manitobans to consult before getting involved, helping them better understand the risks and best practices to avoid losing funds and falling victim to scams.
